David Wolff-Patrick, WireImage As Spinner previously reported, celebrated songwriter Paul McCartney will release his latest solo album, 'Kisses on the Bottom,' on Feb. 6. The record will contain mostly covers of Sir Paul's favorite standards from the Tin Pan Alley era.
According to the Beatle's website (via NME), the anatomical moniker for McCartney's album is not about his fascination with rear ends, but rather a quote from Fats Waller's 1935 hit, 'I'm Gonna Sit Right Down and Write Myself a Letter.'
